Rainy days suck...

A day of rain, but we found lots to do inside....

After and exciting first day (so exciting and nerve-racking that we didn't have time for a post on day 1), Riley is settling into his new home.

The pick-up from the airport was great - we had a chance to see Dakota, Riley's sister who flew with him to her new family in Tom's River, NJ. She's a cutey and about half the size of Riley.

Saturday started out at 5 AM with play time in bed - guess that means it is time to get up. Well, we had lots of walks today and worked on sit and come. A couple of accidents in the house, but for the most part a really great day...

The Day Has Arrived...

After 8 long weeks of anticipation and excitement, Riley arrives on Friday the 13th. Born on February 16, he's off on his first big adventure. A 4:30 AM drive to Sioux Falls, SD and then boarding a Northwest Airlines flight to Newark with a layover in Minneapolis!

We can't wait!
